Each chapter is responsible for its own travel expenses. If you are flying, all flights should be booked at least three weeks in advance of the conference. If you are driving, parking will be available at UNC-Charlotte. For those traveling by rental car, the Fraternity strongly encourages the purchase of supplemental liability insurance and a loss damage waiver/collision damage waiver from the rental car company. This protection will add approximately $20 to $25 per day to the cost of the rental car but will protect the driver and the Fraternity from injury or damage claims.
You can book your travel to Charlotte (fly into Charlotte-Douglas International Airport) at any time. You should plan to arrive in Charlotte at the event location at UNC-Charlotte by 4 p.m. on Thursday, June 5 and plan your departure after 1 p.m. on Sunday, July 8.
Lodging in residence halls on campus will be provided. Linens and towels will also be provided for all attendees. Every delegate must stay on-site, even if your chapter is local to the area.
Dinner on Thursday, breakfast, lunch and dinner on Friday and Saturday and breakfast on Sunday are provided. All other meals are at your expense.
